Are you a storyteller with a passion for history? Then we invite you to become a Volunteer Tour Guide at the History Center!
This is an opportunity to connect with people of all ages and spark their curiosity about our region’s past. As a guide, you will be the friendly face of our museum, sharing the meaningful history of the 1851 Treaty of Traverse des Sioux with field trips and community groups. We’ll provide all the training you need. All you need to bring is your commitment to sharing our local history.
Key Details:
- This is a flexible, on-call position. We’ll contact you when a tour is requested, and you can accept based on your availability.
- Lead tours for field trips and other group visits.
- Tours typically last 60 minutes.
- All training will be provided to ensure you are knowledgeable about the exhibit.
