A display announces "Bob Sandeen Day: 25 Years in the Archives" with a message honoring Bob Sandeen's 25 years at the Nicollet County Historical Society. A man sits in front of bookshelves in a polaroid-style photo on the right.

Join us for a drop-in celebration honoring Bob Sandeen’s 25 years of service to the Nicollet County Historical Society.

For 25 years, Bob Sandeen has helped researchers, visitors, students, and community members discover and understand Nicollet County’s history.

Please join the Nicollet County Historical Society for Bob Sandeen Day: 25 Years in the Archives, a drop-in celebration honoring Bob’s extraordinary service, dedication, and stewardship of local history.

Bob began his work with NCHS on June 13, 2001, as Research Coordinator. Since then, he has cared for the Society’s archival collections, assisted thousands of researchers, and shared his deep knowledge of Nicollet County history with generosity and care. Even after his retirement in 2015, Bob has continued to serve NCHS on a daily basis, helping maintain the archives and respond to research inquiries.

Guests are invited to stop by as they are able for treats, Bob stories, and a special recognition honoring his 25 years with NCHS.
