Commemorative bricks are a fun and unique way to memorialize your family name, organization, or business in Nicollet County history and support the Society’s important mission to preserve, protect and share our local history. The Nicollet County Historical Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, a large portion of our funding comes from memberships, donations and admission from our sites. The purchase of a personalized engraved brick contributes to our ongoing projects, the preservation of the E. St. Julien Cox House, the protection and preservation of our thousands archival materials and artifacts, and many other programs and activities across our historic sites. The front patio at the Treaty Site History Center is paved with bricks (concrete pavers) that can be engraved with the names of individuals, families, and corporate donors. They are available in 3 different sizes to accommodate the message and the size of donations of each donor.
