DESCRIPTION:The annual business meeting will be held on Monday\, April 7\, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. \n\n5:00 p.m. – Doors open\n5:30 p.m. – Business meeting\n6:00 p.m. – Program\n\n“Exploring Our History with Maps” with Bob Sandeen\nMaps are more than just paper and ink—they’re a historian’s best friend! Former NCHS Research Coordinator and longtime volunteer Bob Sandeen will take us on a journey through time using some of our most valuable historical resources: maps.\nFrom county atlases to plat books\, these documents don’t just chart the land—they tell the stories of the people who lived and worked there. Since 1885\, Nicollet County maps have helped historians trace farm boundaries\, identify landowners\, and uncover hidden connections between the past and present. Without them\, our research would be far more challenging.\n\nThe meeting is open to the public. There is no cost to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.\n\nBusiness Meeting Information
